My mission is to help bridge the connection among the mind, heart, body, and spirit, primarily through visual art-making. Other modalities, such as writing, movement, and play, are also used.
I am a trained art educator, but the main focus is the communication with the child's heart, body, mind, and soul. Instead of teaching strict art skill lessons, I teach ways to develop your own art process that will reveal problems, issues, hurts, hopes, dreams, and desires that want to be expressed. Our sessions are meant to be a space of healing, creativity, expression, vulnerability, and play.
If you and your child feel called, join me in these “Heart to Art” sessions to discover, explore, and play with whatever wishes to be expressed and/or healed.
Please Read before Booking:
Before any session: Mother and child should have their own dedicated sketchbook. It will be helpful if the sketchbooks are mixed media. This is so we can work with all kinds of art materials (dry and wet). List of art materials here.
You don’t need to have everything, but please have art materials you and your child love using.
In devotion to serve children and mothers in their creativity and soul journeys through art healing ⭐️🌈
About our sessions🎨
Heart to Art Mentoring (Via Google Meet)
We begin by bringing up what is coming up for you. What is weighing on your child’s heart, or what wants to be expressed. Then we step into a small meditation to bring what is in the heart forward to paint, draw, build, or write.
I ask that mother and child have dedicated sketchbooks just for our sessions together.
Sessions are 1 hour to allow time and space to set the space, create, and integrate.
Heart to Art Mentoring (In-Person) Rhode Island-Based
In these sessions, I travel to you in the Rhode Island area. I bring all the art supplies needed for this session. I ask that mother and child have dedicated sketchbooks just for our sessions together.
